My name is Moira Ness and I’m a 19 year old student photographer. I currently live in Toronto, Canada but I hope to travel and take pictures of the world someday. I enjoy every aspect of photography; drafting picture ideas, shooting the actual photos, and finally, the post-editing. I tend to focus on experimental portrait and conceptual photography but I also like to take pictures of nature/landscapes, still life, and fashion.

The number one inspiration for my photography is my life. The majority of my photos depict moments and ideas I’ve experienced or thought of while going about my daily routine. My second biggest inspiration is music. I listen to a wide range of musicians and bands but my favourite genres include: folk rock, indie rock and electronic. A short list of a few of my favourite bands/musicians: Lady Gaga, Saosin, The Format, Fun., Fair, Copeland, The Starting Line, Circa Survive, The Morning Light, Tycho Music, Flashbulb, Everytime I Die, The Most Serene Republic, Weatherbox, Two Tongues, Person L, Silversun Pickups, Relient K, Lovedrug, As Tall As Lions, Secret And Whisper, The Hush Sound, This Providence and Lydia...just to name a few :).
